Nine Scioto Valley 99s and guests flew in three aircraft to the Burke-Lakefront Airport (Cleveland) on August 27 for a tour of the International Women's Air and Space Museum (IWASM) in the terminal building. How the collection and display space have grown over the years! The memorabilia on display are truly impressive. Although the museum space is open to the public in the terminal building, it is best viewed with a tour guide. Our very gracious and knowledgeable guide was IWASM Board President Connie Luhta. Connie is second from the left in the group photo (taken in front of Christine Mortine's Cessna 185--aka Songbird). Check out the museum's web site at http://www.iwasm.org for more information and future events happening there.
